TES Industrial Systems has received the order from DP World Antwerp Gateway to replace the frequency inverters for two container cranes.

The frequency inverters (Masterdrive) were due for replacement after 14 loyal years. The Current master drive series is in the “phase-out”. In order to keep unexpected stops of the crane as small as possible, TES Industrial Systems B.V. replaced the controllers with the new Sinamics series. This was possible so that all new controllers were prepared in such a way that they were involved in software and hardware “Retrofit”. Thanks to preparation preparation for engineering and assembly, the controls on the crane were successfully replaced in a very short time and the downtime was minimal.
