TES Industrial Systems B.V. has renewed the complete operating system of the Polar crane in the nuclear reactor of Nuclar Research & consultancy Group Petten. The durability of the crane is considerably extended. A technical feat, where the highest safety standards are applied. Three safety controls monitor and control the correct operation of the installation and ensure that a safety level PL-e is achieved.

The reliability of the crane must be extremely high, because 30,000 patients every day depend on medical radioisotopes from Petten in North Holland.
