Overhaul of E42 Wheeled Excavator

TES Industrial Systems modernised the electrical installation of the E42 Wheeled Excavator for Tata Steel in IJmuiden.

We replaced the old Siemens S5 PLC controller for a new Siemens S7 PLC controller, including new frequency regulators. The total overhaul time excluding commissioning was based on two weeks continuous shift work, and the project was eventually completed in one-and-a-half weeks.
